Art, Peace, and Promotions
If morality shows the way we would like the world to work, then economics shows the reality of how the world works

The upcoming virtual Gift Shop will mark the first project within Hotel Infinity. It benefits the HIV/AIDS orphans and deprived children helped by FootStepsforLife's program. However other organizations will also add products, some virtual (sponosorship of literacy program, gardening tools for the family, clean water, construction/expansion of orphanages, educational/art supplies) and some are handmade jewelry, crafts, art, and even some services. The emphasis is a boutique that specializes in virtual gifts, unique and consciously created products.
Others are invited to contact me to explore other spaces that can be included to serve additional boutique markets. The virtual space will evolve into a more interactive and responsive user interface based on Hotel Infinity themes.
If you are or know of a business looking for creative promotional products refer them to this blog post.
We need to find businesses to sponsor “thank you gifts” for purchases. We'll encourage original artwork and prints (poster, fine art prints, lithographs, etc) of such to be used as “promotional items”, but the options are only limited by the imagination. The great thing about working with artists is that creativity is in no short supply....and i have a network full of amazingly talented people!
Cultural Fusion-"Art as Philosophy" offers an alternative to the traditional "old school" high end modern art markets that rewarded soul less art. i won't link to any names because if you're interested you can find examples easily enough. Let's just say that art that routinely goes for thousands or even millions of dollars is frequently not even created by the artist who signs, sells and gets the accolades for it. Instead it works much like a designer fashion house.
What if art with purpose could consistently provide revenue to sustain worthy programs that serve others?
What if the issue of an artist earning from what s/he does was seen in the same light as a farmer getting their price for his/her products?
What if art inspired those that enjoyed it to be better global citizens?
What if the collectors that bought art were also helping many people at once?
What if everyone involved in creating it got credit for their business/organization, help to market their enterprise individually?
What if we can start to develop solutions that automate global social responsibility?
An idealist, you charge....you may well be right.
My recipe for world peace starts with passion followed by gratitude. This not only applies to my obvious supporters, but to those that have sparked uncomfortable lines of inquiry in this quest to understand peace and freedom as research issues in technological, economic and artistic innovation.
I'd like to especially express my gratitude to Sugar Brown Studio and artist/co-owner, Michaela Brown for her inspiration and extending the use of their studio space (and equipment) to me to begin the new artwork started during my visit.
I'll try and get a good picture of it to upload later...
Without the whole range of people and experiences i am not sure i would have been inspired to explore this new territory called Comfusion where Cultural Fusion is the spiral of growth....so thank you to everyone who has shared a bit your attention and a few questions.
